Clinical Psychologist Revan Kafkaslı Uzun completed her bachelor’s degree in Istanbul Medeniyet University Departmant of Psychology. She successfully completed her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Işık University with her thesis titled “The Investigation of the Relationship Between Problem Solving Abilities and Marital Satisfaction with Somatization in Married Individuals.”
During her bachelors and masters, she completed internships in the clinical field at Erenköy Mental and Nervous System Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul Bakırköy Prof. Dr. Mazhar Osman Mental Health and Neurological Diseases Training and Research Hospital, and Kocaeli University Research and Application Hospital.
She has worked in various counseling centers as a clinical psychologist.
After receiving her proficiency trainings for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), she also completed the ISST approved Basic Schema Therapy Training given by Prof. Dr. Gonca Soygüt. She continues her supervision with Clinical Psychologist Dr. Esra Ersayan in order to be recognized as an ISST Approved Schema Therapist. She completed the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) I. and II. Level trainings given by the Institution of Behavioral Sciences. Additionally, she completed the Family and Marriage Therapy I. II. and III. level trainings given by Prof. Dr. Hürol Fışıloğlu, and continues to work with couples and families.
